OCCS Catalina Trip

OCCS will once again be sponsoring a field trip to Catalina Island this school year for grades 6-12.  

The Catalina trip has been scheduled for May 1-3, 2013

The total cost for this trip will be $300.00, which can be made in 2 installments of $150 each.

The first installment will be due 2/28/13

The second installment will be due 3/26/13.

The students will be staying at Emerald Bay on Catalina - one of the top snorkeling sites in California! The price will include the ferry transportation to the island, food, lodging, and program classes/activities (students will need to provide their own transportation to and from the ferry terminal).  We currently have a limited number of spaces reserved with the company.  The registration form and the payment must be made to reserve your child’s spot.  Availability will be on a first-come, first-served basis.  The company does currently have additional spaces available to us, but these spaces are not guaranteed, so it is very important to get your form and payment in as soon as possible!  

We will need to have an accurate count of students who will be attending by 2/27, so please begin making plans if your child will be attending. No refunds may be given once the school has mailed the payment.

We encourage all students to attend this field trip, as the benefits that each student reaps from this experience are extraordinary! Not only will the students who attend have the opportunity to learn about our marine ecosystem, but they will also have the chance to kayak, swim, snorkel, and hike. It's a fantastic experience they won't want to miss!
